Anger Control – Reflection
Last Saturday, I had a bad experience with Sana I don’t think it’s useful to find a “guilty” person; instead, I want to understand the reasons and mechanisms that led to the situation.
I think Sana might have been upset and in a bad mood, perhaps because she didn’t sleep well or for another reason. She had the right to express her emotions and feelings.
It seems I wasn’t in the best mood either, and I reacted badly. I won’t describe the details of my reaction, but I know it wasn’t appropriate.
For next time, my plan is simple:
-
Pause — take a deep breathe before responding.
-
Recognize — notice my own emotional states and the other person’s.
-
Move forward — let go of the immediate irritation quickly and focus on resolving or defusing the moment.
